Funmilayo Onafowokan is the Executive Director of Green Olives Private School, Aguda, Surulere Lagos. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

She worked in Pricewaterhouse Coopers from 1986 to 1998 as an Auditor and in The Moorhouse Hotel as the Financial Controller from 2000 to 2013. Her professional Accountancy career spans 26 years. Since her voluntary retirement as an Accountant in 2013, she has been fully managing Green Olives Private School, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos a school founded by herself and her husband, Mr Olubunmi Onafowokan in 2002.

Funmilayo holds a Diploma in Pre-Primary Montessori Education and has undertaken numerous training and developmental courses in Education for both nursery and primary age children. She is a passionate lover of children and has devoted the rest of her working life to the nurturing of young children so that they can become future leaders of Nigeria and also worthy citizens of the world at large.
